In partnership with New Lodge Arts, The Agency presents three bold, youth-led projects at the Look North Festival, celebrating the creativity, resilience, and pride of young people in North Belfast. The Agency is a global initiative, created in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro, and now delivered across England, Brazil, Mexico, and here in Belfast. At its core, The Agency is about giving young people the opportunity to take action on the issues that matter most in their communities. These projects have been created by young people with a deep connection to the area they live in. Each responds directly to challenges they and their peers have experienced, transforming lived realities into ideas for change.

This showcase celebrates the power of youth agency — providing young people with the tools, confidence, and platform to lead and create meaningful impact. It offers a unique opportunity to experience all three projects firsthand, meet the young creators behind them, and hear their stories, ideas, and ambitions for the future of their community.
