Slow Art Sunday

Experience the joy of appreciating and loving art at Slow Art Sunday on Sunday 7th December.

Our December session will focus on paintings in our Renaissance to Romanticism: Painting before 1900 exhibition. Discover 'The Nativity' by Baldassarre Peruzzi and J.M.W. Turner’s The Dawn of Christianity (The Flight into Egypt) from 1841 with our knowledgeable visitor guides.

Explore the influences and inspirations that contributed to the artwork, and find out our guide's favourite pieces! Feel free to sketch or bring your own interpretations as our guides bring the artwork to life.
