We’re back for another round of re.mix.er – our monthly creative night blending visual art, music and cocktails as part of Late Night Art.
This Thursday 4th September we’re launching ‘My and Me’ by Imane Lghaloui Gilbert.
Imane is a multidisciplinary, multicultural, and multilingual creative whose practice is rooted in movement between places and perspectives. Born in France to Moroccan heritage and now based in Belfast, she shares herself across three homes — each shaping her way of seeing and feeling the world.
‘My and Me’ gathers fragments of places, people, and perceptions that together construct a sense of “home.” Each photograph becomes both an anchor and a mirror — asking how one might belong to many places at once, and how the multiplicity of culture, language, and memory can coexist within a single self.
