Microscale Chemistry

CCEA, in partnership with the RSC, is hosting a hands-on workshop introducing microscale chemistry practicals.

The session explores the benefits of microscale approaches and their potential as a more sustainable alternative to traditional practical work. Teachers and Technicians of CCEA GCSE Chemistry, and the Chemistry units of DAS and SAS, will trial selected prescribed practicals using microscale techniques.

You will:

• Explore the benefits of microscale practical work
• Compare environmental impact with traditional practicals
• Use and evaluate microscale techniques
