Have you ever wondered what Masters students do for their research projects? What solutions can a new generation of researchers produce to answer some of the world’s challenges. Each year, Arts Management & Cultural Policy at Queen’s works with students to explore these questions. We know cultural or arts activities and those making them aim to ‘do good’ and make the world a better place: but - is it the purpose of art to make the world ‘better’? Can it do that? And who decides what is ‘goodness’?
For the first time an array of students’ research projects from the MA in Arts Management are brought together in a special showcase poster exhibition. Posters are a unique way to summarise research – the questions asked, the way it was done, the conclusions and recommendations found. Our students’ work reflects their wide ranging and global interests – from studies of ethical practice and working conditions to contemporary protests and historical studies. Anyone curious about the arts, culture or creative industries will find interest here.
The exhibition is free and open to the public.
