Join Julie for this nourishing 3 hour workshop learning to use ancient mantras and your own voice as powerful tools for your healing and transformation No singing or musical ability is needed to enjoy all the benefits of these accessible vocal meditation practices Through simple voice practices, & chanting you'll learn how to: *Calm your mind with sacred mantra sound vibrations *Use your voice for emotional clarity, release and expression *Relieve and release stress through vocal sound healing & chanting *Feel more connected to your body, breath, self and others What to expect: *Learning & Discussion around Nada & Bhakti Yoga *Gentle body movements and vocal warm exercises *Chanting & Singing Mantras together *Space for integration and feedback *Connection and sharing over tea & refreshments Led by Julie Preston - Kirtan Leader, Vocal Sound Healing Coach & Harmonium/ Chanting Teacher Julie has been practicing yoga for almost 30 years, and has been teaching since 2007. She began her classical music training age 3 and learnt 4 instruments, sang in several choirs, taught piano and did her degree in Music. However the pressure of the classical system had taken away all the joy in her heart with music so she turned her back on it all In 2006 she was introduced to chanting and mantras on her yoga journey, it relit the spark and merged her love of music and yoga together in a form that wasn't about performance or perfection, but about the heart Julie has been a chant leader since 2011 sharing Kirtan Chanting in Northern Ireland and beyond. She is also a vocal sound healing coach and harmonium and chant teacher with 1:1 students
