Who? YOU
What? Rigs on dirt, mud and rocks
When? Saturday November 29, 10am sharp
Where? Tahuya but meet us at the Belfair Safeway at 10am (or the Tahuya parking lot)
Why? oh come on, do I need to answer this one?
How? In 2wd only, please remove your front driveline before coming out. Ok, Ok just kidding. That's not mandatory. But if you don't remove your driveline you must loosen some or all of your lug nuts. huh? I can be sued if someone gets hurt because of that? ok, ok. Leave your lug nuts tightened.
If you haven't been to Tahuya, there really isn't anything a stock Jeep can't do (or ride around, I've done this in my Bronco). If it is very muddy it would be helpful to have lockers but again I think if you don't you should still be ok.
I want to check out Yellowjacket on this run (and probably chicken out) but also on the "highway" run to the mud lake there are a bunch of small rock stacks. If you haven't done any rocks these are a good place to start. I'd love to see a whole line of rigs each running these rock stacks (but no pressure).
Plan on 3-4 hours but if you need to leave early we probably won't illegally detain you. what? the lawyers called again? OK ,OK we definitely won't illegally detain you.
What to bring?
tightened lug nuts
a sense of adventure
recovery gear
a snack?
appropriate clothing
might be nice to have a discover pass (support your state parks)
a GMRS radio is helpful
a shrubbery (optional)
