Leaf blowing* and a bit of bittersweet wrangling.** We want to get as much of the organic matter off the Trail bed as possible.
Prep for the dirt and the weather (it'll be "fresh"), bring water and yardwork tools. I'll have a short electric pruner, and loppers are a good idea. Protect yourself from ticks. Poison ivy stems are bare, but can still cause a reaction (as my skin proves every time!). I'll have some Technu on hand.
*let's keep the organic matter from turning to soil on the Trail
