Let's make some fun, practical covers to protect our favourite tool: our sewing machines!
Bring your own sewing machine along to this class, and together we'll take some measurements, create a pattern, and make a unique cover to suit your own machine. These covers will include an opening for the carry handle, a large pocket for your pedal and power cord, and some small pockets for your equipment, depending on your personal style.
What we will cover:
- Measuring your sewing machine and marking an appropriate pattern
- Cutting and preparing fabric and fixings
- Adding pockets and sewing bindings
- Sewing a complete cover, personalised to your sewing machine
