Zion UCC Blood Drive - 4th Annual Steve Thomas Memorial Drive

Zion United Church of Christ is partnering with the American Red Cross to hold a blood drive on Thursday, October 9, from 12-6 pm. Join us as we serve our community, help save lives, and enrich our neighbors.

Our partnership with the Red Cross has grown into something special here at Zion UCC, and it all started with Steve Thomas. Steve donated blood countless times, and after he passed away, we wanted to carry on his legacy. We’ve grown from that first blood drive to hosting a drive every quarter. So far, 231 units of blood product have been collected at our church, which has potentially gone to save up to 693 lives. Join us on October 9 to save lives and honor Steve’s memory. If you aren’t able to donate blood, please help spread the word. You can also pray for our drive and all those who will be impacted by these donations.
