Save the Date: University of Scouting Returns January 17, 2026
Whether you’re new or experienced, there’s always more to explore in Scouting. The University of Scouting is the Crossroads of America Council’s largest single-day training event, open to all registered adults, Scouts BSA youth, Venturing Crew members, and Sea Scouts.
This event brings together participants from across the council for a full day of high-impact, hands-on learning. With dozens of sessions offered across multiple tracks, attendees can:
Build outdoor and technical skills
Strengthen leadership and communication abilities
Learn best practices in unit operations, advancement, and safety
Discover new ideas to enhance the Scouting experience
A special Cub Scout program will also be held on site, offering age-appropriate activities for Cub Scouts while their adults attend training. Adults of participating Cub Scouts must remain on site throughout the event.
The University of Scouting offers valuable training for all roles and experience levels. Whether you’re new to Scouting or looking to expand your knowledge, you’ll find sessions that match your interests and help you grow.
