Kids Creative Writing Workshop

Join Christy Smith, Bedford Books staff member and former middle and high school English teacher, for a fun and engaging Creative Writing Workshop for ages 9–12.

Through writing prompts, brainstorming, and story outlines, we’ll explore what makes a story great, focusing on descriptive writing and dialogue. Be ready to get creative, write, share, and have fun—by the end, everyone should leave with the seed of a story to continue at home.

Limited to 8 participants. Please bring a notebook and a pen.
