This is the Thursday morning session. Class dates include: 10/23, 11/6, 11/13, 11/20, 12/4
All pictures are from the first beginner semester that just finished! We were so excited with how they turned out! All participants agreed that they needed just a little more time so instead of four weeks we are doing five weeks this time and each class is a little longer also. 😊
Tiffany Method Stained Glass: 5-Week Course
Discover the art of stained glass from start to finish in this hands-on 5-week course. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this class will guide you through the full process of creating your own stained glass piece.
We’ll begin by selecting patterns and glass, then move into the fundamentals of cutting, practicing extensively on scrap glass before working on your chosen design. Once your pieces are cut, you’ll learn how to grind, fit, and clean them to perfection. From there, we’ll explore copper foiling and prepare for soldering, where your project truly comes together.
In the final stages, you’ll solder, clean, and polish your piece, and finish by adding a zinc border, hooks, and a chain so your work is ready to hang proudly.
This 5-week format gives you the focused time you need to create a finished stained glass project while keeping the pace engaging and efficient.
By the end of the course, you’ll walk away with both a completed work of art and the foundational skills to continue your stained glass journey.
