Enjoy a quiet walk with some of the best views Eryri has to offer. Once you reach the summit of the solitary Mynydd Mawr, the views open out towards Snowdonia. The views are largely hidden by Mynydd Mawr itself as you ascend, only to be revealed at the last moment once you reach the summit: Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) Massif, Moel Hebog and the Nantlle Ridge to one side, Ynys Môn (Anglesey) and the Llŷn Peninsula in the other.
This walk is perfect for those wanting to get off the beaten track and avoid the crowds, exploring the best of what Eryri (Snowonia) has to offer. The route takes in a mixture of good tracks and paths plus some off-path sections.
