This workshop offers couples a direct experience of how connection evolves when regulation and presence lead. Not because something is missing but because depth is a choice. We know that connection doesn’t deepen through effort, fixing, or talking things out. It deepens when two bodies feel safe enough to settle together.
This experience centers on breath as the bridge between self and other. Through guided breathwork, somatic practices, meditation, writing, and sound healing, couples are led into a shared state of regulation where presence becomes natural and connection can emerge without force.
✧ Breath — The Entry Point
Breathwork will guide each partner out of habitual stress responses and into awareness of their internal state. From here, breath becomes a shared language—supporting regulation, emotional openness, and grounded presence.
✧ Body — The Regulator
Somatic and partnered practices help bring attention out of the mind and into the body. These practices support felt safety, attunement, and the ability to stay present with sensation—both individually and together.
✧ Bond — The Shared Field
Rather than focusing on communication strategies, this class works with co-regulation. As each nervous system settles, couples experience how connection naturally strengthens when neither partner is bracing, fixing, or performing.
✧ Presence — The Integration
Guided meditation and reflective writing allow space to integrate insights, express appreciation, and clarify intention without pressure to share publicly. Sound healing supports nervous system integration and anchors the shared state in the body.
Shared State is hosted by Ashley Oakes of Quantum Sol Breathwork, a nervous-system–focused breathwork facilitator and somatic mentor who helps individuals and couples access presence, regulation, and deeper connection.
Joining her is Mitchel, a relationship mentor and Reiki energy facilitator, who brings expertise in somatic connection, energetic alignment, and conscious partnership.
Together, they guide couples through an intentional experience that balances embodied practice, emotional attunement, and energetic support—creating a safe space where regulation, presence, and real connection can arise naturally.
