Get ready for a day of family fun in Beavercreek! On Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Beavercreek Parks, Recreation & Culture and the Beavercreek Township Fire Department are teaming up for two exciting events.
At Try a Truck, located at 789 Orchard Lane, families can get an up-close look at snowplows, fire trucks, police cruisers, front loaders, and more. Kids can paint a snowplow, bounce around in the inflatable house, and enjoy a special sensory-friendly hour from 10 to 11 a.m. with no lights or horns.
Just a short walk at the fire department’s Open House, located at 2195 Dayton-Xenia Road, visitors can explore fire department trucks and equipment, sample chili during the department’s annual cook-off, and watch as CareFlight makes a thrilling landing. This year’s Fire Prevention Week theme, “Charge into Fire Safety: Lithium-Ion Batteries in Your Home,” will also be highlighted, and you can meet Sparky the Fire Dog!
Don’t miss this free event filled with hands-on activities, learning opportunities, and fun for the whole family!
