Death is the great equalizer--we all must face it. Nowhere in the Bible is this more poignantly noted than in John 11. The Author and Creator of Life is seen weeping at the tomb of His friend, Lazarus. And yet, as he shares with Lazarus' grieving sister, Martha, because of the death He will die and the payment He will make for sin as God in the flesh, sinful people can know that they, too, will rise from the dead to eternal life.
The great Hope of all who will believe is beautifully summarized by Jesus in His assurance to Martha that He, Himself is "The Resurrection and the Life". John Chapter 11 is the most beautiful message of the Gospel Jesus brings in the worst of circumstances--that because of His death and resurrection, the grave is not the end, and those whose trust in Him can know that He will bring them to life eternal.
Come join us, 6:30 pm, Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Panera Bread, The Greene, as we seek to know and follow the Resurrection and the Life!
