In a world full of AI, propaganda, gaslighting, and a nearly complete absence of "just the facts", how does one know whether or not what they are being told is true? While this question must be asked today in light of the above-mentioned list of false or skewed information, it has also been asked by thinkers and skeptics, alike, for millennia.
Luke was a physician. It was his responsibility to help people to wellness and healing through his best possible efforts, and in the first century, before microscopes, x-rays, MRIs and other modern medical insights, the surest and most effective way to help other was to carefully document what had helped people in the past. This careful, specific, life-impacting attention to detail was precisely what Luke employed when interviewing eyewitnesses for their accounts regarding the life of Jesus.
The book of Luke is a fascinating look into the life of Jesus, beginning just over a year before His birth, and ending shortly after His resurrection and ascension, when He was witnessed by more than 500 people at the same event. Come join us, 6:30 pm, Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Panera Bread, The Greene, and come to know Jesus, from the accounts of those who walked and talked with Him!
