Dear Kids in the Community;
I’m Chippy, Chippewa Township’s
Elf on the Shelf! I flew in from the North Pole
to watch over you and have some fun times this
holiday season!. I’m excited to kick this season
off with a ‘12 Locations of Elf Hunts’ starting November 28th!
I plan to head to some of my favorite spots throughout Chippewa Township, providing some clues and pictures along the way. If you find me or know where I am, message the township with the location and a bonus point for taking a picture with me int he background. I like to hang out in each location for about 24-48 hours then just like at your houses, overnight, I’ll head back to Santa then move to my new spot! At the end of our ‘12 Locations of Elf Hunts’ the winner will receive a gift basket donated by Walmart! If we have a tie, all winners will be entered into a drawing for the gift basket.
But first, a couple rules, to keep the magic alive!
1. Make sure you don’t touch me, I stay magical because I’m loved from afar!
2. Shhhh.....my locations are a secret! Have fun with your family and friends but don’t spill the beans on my location, let everyone have some fun in finding me!
3. All guesses must be submitted either through Facebook Messaging to Chippewa Recreation or Email to
cmVjcmVhdGlvbiB8IGNoaXBwZXdhLXR3cCAhIG9yZw==. Submit right after you find me, or by Monday, December 22nd at 10:00 am. Winners will be drawn announced/drawn on Monday, December 22nd at Noon!
4. If you have questions, you can ask Lauren Doyle the Parks & Recreation Director, she’s my friend and will be helping me with our fun game!
5. The Elf Hunts will start on Friday, November 28th and my last location will be on December 21st.
