BDHS Class of 1985 40th Class Reunion

40 years! Can you believe it? We hope to see you at many of the events, but note that the Saturday evening Reunion Class Dinner is the only event requiring registration. Be sure to connect with others ahead of time to meet up and socialize, cheer for the home team at Homecoming, join a foursome in golf, tour the high school, or just chill out over coffee or tea.

Info: Grab your lawn chairs and coolers and join us on Front St. downtown for the Homecoming parade. From there you can walk to Ooga Brewery and/or Den's Dragon.

Info: Join us for your beverage of choice at Beaver Dam's Ooga Brewery (beer or non-alcoholic)! Check them out at https://www.oogabrewing.com/theoogacrew to see they are all about community, living life with a smile, and a great drink. There's often live music and a great outdoor area (weather dependent). Ooga does not serve food, but you can order delivery from anywhere in town (there's a kiosk to order from Dam Chicken). Alternatively, join us at the new cool Dragons Den Lounge - within walking distance of Ooga Brewer. Check it out at 126 Spring St. or online at Dragonsdenlounge.com. From here we can head to the football game, or feel free to stay as long you want.

Info: Varsity Homecoming Game vs Port Washington. 7 pm game. Meet us to cheer on the Golden Beavers and jam with the marching band! We recommend arriving early.

Info: If sports are not your thing, the Beaver Dam Community Theater is presenting the comedy "The Play That Goes Wrong" by Henry Lewis and directed by Diane Lutz with curtain time of 7:30 pm. 920-885-6891.

Info: Schedule a tee time with friends at https://www.oldhickorygolfclub.com/ or try out your golf swing in the driving range. Not a golfer? Drop in to the pickleball courts at 600 Grove St. (behind Washington School) for some activity with classmates.

Info: Grab a light lunch, coffee, or tea and hang out at Great Harvest Bakery Cafe (128 Front St.) (Note: it closes at 2 pm).

Info: Join us to walk the halls of the high school guided by a high school administrator. Reminisce about your favorite class, study hall, the track, the auditorium or gym. Meet us at the front doors just before 2 pm.

Info: The Saturday evening dinner (Prime Rib and Seafood buffet) requires registration so we have a headcount to plan for the meals. Join us at 5:00 pm cocktail hour. At 6:00 pm Mr. Floyd Henschel will lead us in an opening grace for the dinner buffet. You can let us know in your registration of any dietary restrictions. Get ready to rock out to your favorite 80s hits! Finally, there will be memorial dedicated to our classmates who have already passed. Stop by to send goodwill and offer your thoughts on the group memorial board. Attire: business casual.

Info: We recognize that life happens and some may be experiencing a financial hardship. You can choose to help support those classmates who may not have the means to register for the dinner. To contribute separately from your dinner registration, simply select the Donation ticket type for an additional ticket. Any amount will be greatly appreciated. Any remaining funds will be donated toward the construction of benches on the new community nature trail at the new BD Middle School.
