Awards for Spirit and Creativity:
Unleash your creativity with jaw-dropping costumes, high-energy performances, and a whole lot of pizzazz! Votes for the People's Choice Award will be $1 each, with half the pot going to the WINNER and half to Scouts BSA Troops 724B and 6724G.

HOW TO JOIN THE FUN:
1. Register your team at the link in tickets.
2. Build Your Casket: Get crafty and create a casket that meets our spooky specs. Officials will inspect all caskets before the race.
3. Assemble Your Team:You need four pushers and one brave rider. Racers must be 14 or older. Entourage members of all ages are welcome (up to 12 people).
4. Dress to Impress: Costumes are a must! Just keep them family-friendly. It's ok to come back each year with the same theme.
5. Gear Up for Safety: Helmets, knee guards, and running shoes are highly recommended. The rider must wear a helmet.
6. Be on Time: Register and line up by 1:30 PM sharp.
7. Sign the Waiver: All racers must sign a Hold Harmless Agreement. Minors need parental/guardian consent.
ON RACE DAY:
1. Judging and Awards: Teams will be judged on creativity, design, and team spirit during the parade and race. Awards include Best of Show, Best Team Spirit, and race winners.
2. Driver’s Meeting: One racer from each team must attend to review the rules.
3. Procession Line-Up: Racers and their entourages must be in position by 12:45 PM. The procession kicks off the event and begins at 1 PM.
PARADE AND RACE RULES:
- This is a family-friendly event. No alcohol or drugs allowed.
- All casket racers must participate in the procession.
- No distributing items to the crowd during the procession.
- The race starts after the procession.
- Races are run in heats of two caskets each. The first team to cross the finish line advances.
- Three of the four pushers must keep their hands on the casket until it crosses the finish line and stops.
- Pushers must keep caskets in their lane. Crossing the line will result in disqualification.
- Protests must be logical and directed to a race official immediately after the race.
Entry Fee: $50 per team (Checks payable to Beaver Dam Area Chamber of Commerce, no refunds)
Deadline: Registration must be submitted by October 14, 2024.
Submit Payment: Drop off or mail your check to Beaver Dam Area Chamber of Commerce, 127 S Spring Street, Beaver Dam, WI 53916.
