Kiteboarding requires a combination of strength, endurance, balance, and core stability. In this workshop, we will focus on exercises that will help improve performance on the water and reduce the risk of injury. The workout will include a mix of;
- Core strengthening (abs, obliques, and lower back) essential for maintaining balance and controlling the kite and board
- Rotational exercises that build power, crucial for turning and maneuvering the kite and board,
- Leg exercises that will be vital for generating power, maintaining balance, and absorbing impacts from waves,
- Upper body strength - necessary for controlling the kite and maneuvering in choppy water.
- Balance training to improve stability and reflexes needed on the water.
- Flexibility for ease of movement.
- All levels are welcome, ages 12 and up.
