The North Carolina Seafood Festival is proud to support the commercial fishing industry, the very heart of why we gather each year. Without these men and women, fresh local seafood wouldn’t be possible.

Each year, through the Blessing of the Fleet, we recognize the many commercial fishermen who have given their lives in their occupation, and we thank those who continue the hard work of supporting our area and industry.
