This event will offer members a "sneak peek" into the process of creating a museum exhibit, with a focus on our upcoming display related to Community Players. Attendees will gain insight into the careful planning, preparation, and precautions involved in curating and installing an exhibit.
Starting at 5:00 pm and again at 6:00pm. Walk with the Society's curator, Joslyn Edmond, through the exhibit planning process. Get an explanation of conservation considerations, handling protocols, and other steps taken to preserve and present items during installation.
See on display items from our theatre collection and what will be on display in our winter exhibit!
Throughout the evening, try your hand at designing exhibit panels!
Take a lesson from the Society's director, Cassandra Dean, on how to cut audio recordings for oral history display.
Tea and Cupcakes will be provided.
Have to be a member of the Society to attend this event.
Space is Limited, so signup is required. Please contact the museum at 402-228-1679 to sign up and for more information.
