This year marks a very special milestone for Beachport Primary School. It has been operating at its current site for 50 years, and the whole community is invited to celebrate!
On Sunday 19th October 2025, from 11am to 4pm, the school oval will be a-buzz with food vans, wine and beer stalls, live music (including a performance from some past students), and plenty of space to sit, relax, and catch up with old friends, classmates, and teachers.
The day is designed to be family-friendly and fun, with entertainment for all ages. Kids can enjoy laser tag, mini golf, giant games as well as the school playground, and nature play, while adults can wander through the memorabilia display in the Beachport Recreation Centre, explore classrooms filled with stories and photos from the past 50 years, and hear reflections from ex-principals and students throughout the day.
The celebration will be a chance to sit, relax and enjoy some food and beverages, music in the background, and the company of old and new friends whilst celebrating the past, present, and future of our school.
Everyone is welcome – past students, families, staff, and community members. Whether you’ve been part of the school for one year or fifty, come along, share your memories, and make some new ones too.
As well as Sunday’s main celebration, the weekend also features:
Informal Dinner – Saturday 18th October, 6pm at the Beachport Hotel (book your own numbers and there will be tables made up in the Courtyard).
Commemorative Walk – Monday 20th October, 10am from the old school site to the current school.
