IMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION – Raspberry Creek Falls (Beginners/Family/All Ages Event)
Join Nate and I as we share our love of the outdoors with you and your family.
On this family friendly event, we will be taking you on an outdoor adventure, suitable for all ages, fitness levels and abilities, especially the kids! If you’re bringing bub, carriers only on this adventure. Prams are not useable on this trail unfortunately.
Join us and check out the marvellous Raspberry Falls! THIS GORGEOUS TERRACED WATERFALL SYSTEM has been recently heavily publicised as one of the best short waterfall walks in the region and will likely be one of the main attractions of the proposed Paluma-Wallaman Falls walk, should the plans go ahead.
After meeting & Carpooling from the BP Yabulu, we’ll head north to the start point. I anticipate the drive to and from the start point to take around 1.5 hours each way. The hike itself will only take ~ 1 hour each way, with a break at the top of the falls.
Once we reach the start point, we’ll be on trail before descending into the creek and making our way to the falls.
There’ll be some off-trail hiking, bush bashing & rock hopping involved, however the rewards are going to be well worth the effort. Expect to get your feet wet along the way, and you may even have to wade through a short section of water, dependant on water levels. Those with bubs will need to be extra careful.
The views from the top of the falls are going to take your breath away and we can explore the falls for as long as everybody would like to before heading back down!
High clearance vehicles are recommended; however, we can arrange appropriate transportation for those without high clearance at the meeting point.
Please ensure you bring a dry bag for your valuables; in case you get them wet.

This event will go for ~ 3 hours in total.
