"Hexen", "Wahrsager" und "Ketzer" galten insbesondere in der Frühneuzeit als Personifikation des Bösen. Sie sollen sich mit dem Teufel höchstselbst eingelassen haben, um ihren Mitmenschen zu schaden. Der Vortrag wirft einen Blick auf die Ursprünge des "Hexenglaubens" und zeichnet zugleich die grausamen Entwicklungen nach, die am Ende in den "Hexenwahn" auch in Franken führten.
