The People's Open Mic

January 2026. Dave is back! Come ring in the New Year with the People's Open Mic!

The People's Open Mic takes place on the second Wednesday of every month at People's Pub in Bayport (291 Bayport Ave). This is an acoustic open mic (light, tasteful percussion permitted at the host's discretion). Everyone who signs up gets to play, but the list tends to fill up fast, so plan accordingly.

People's Pub (formerly the Grey Horse Tavern) is the place to be! Great food and drink in a warm, comfortable environment. Dave March is the host, and he'll set you up nicely and make you sound your best. Just remember: he has a lot going on, so be nice to him!

The talent is top notch, from professional musicians to undiscovered amateurs. The crowd is friendly and respectful. The staff is wonderful. The People's Open Mic has it all! Come show us what you've got, or just enjoy some great music. See you there!
