Bayard’s Christmas Parade of Lights

Please join us for Bayard’s Annual Christmas parade of lights. Friday Dec. 5th starting at 6:00 pm on Main Street. Parade line up will be in the high school football field/track parking lot beginning at 5:15, just south of the school building east of Main on 7th Street. The parade will end at the Bayard Depot Museum. All entries must have lights. Throwing candy will be allowed/no Santa or Mrs. Santa costumes as Santa himself will be concluding the parade then meeting children at the Vault at 401 Main Street following the parade. Don’t forget there will also be a free will donation soup supper at the American Legion from 5-8:00 to raise money for community betterment projects, downtown businesses will be open for shopping and specials. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged but registrations can be taken up until parade time. You can register on the link below which includes more details. If you have further questions, contact Angie Hoff 641-6772 Additional parade rules: entries can be walking, vehicles, floats or animals, (again, illumination required) there is no registration fee, children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult, no vehicle drivers under 16. Watch this invitation and Facebook posts for cancellation in the event of severe weather. This parade will not be rescheduled.
