Candice Smith from Tours Around Michigan will uncover the chilling connections between Michigan and some of the nation's most infamous serial killers. Learn how these dark figures are tied to the state, with fascinating insights and stories that reveal Michigan's lesser-known criminal history. Candice will delve into cases that bring a haunting dimension to local lore.
Candice Smith is the founder of Tours Around Michigan. In college, she was a teaching assistant for one of the best known profilers for serial killers and rapists, where she learned how these criminals might think.
Candice has more than 30-years experience in media, public relations, and branding. She LOVES storytelling. Candice began sharing stories as a television news producer in Michigan and Indiana, and as a reporter for NPR station WGVU. That work continued in international communications and corporate communications.
Today, Candice is dedicated to ToursAroundMichigan.com , based in Grand Rapids. Candice is thrilled to share stories & experiences that include history, art, cultures, craft beverage tastings, historic homes and ghosts. If you have questions about Michigan, ask her, she probably has an answer.
Candice is also an advocate for accessibility, helping teach businesses and events how to be more accessible.
