Discover an outdoor feast shaped by the land beneath your feet. This immersive dining experience celebrates bold, authentic flavours drawn directly from Ewhurst Park — grown, foraged and crafted in harmony with the surrounding forest.
Gather to share seasonal dishes in an ancient woodland setting, then pause by the lake to enjoy a botanical drink infused with ingredients harvested from the estate. As evening unfolds, leave the wilderness with a nurtured body, a nourished soul, and a renewed connection to nature.
Your journey begins as you enter Ewhurst Park’s ancient woodlands. With each step along the forest path, everyday noise fades — replaced by birdsong, the murmur of the stream, and the gentle movement of air through the trees. Senses soften, attention sharpens.
At the water’s edge, you arrive at our secluded boathouse and are welcomed with a handcrafted drink. Take a moment to breathe, to take in the lakeside views, and to reflect on the connection between land and glass — the soil beneath your feet nourishing the botanicals in your drink, the life around you, and the meal still to come.
From here, you’ll be guided to the forest feast itself. Long communal tables are set outdoors, where fine glassware and thoughtful details sit effortlessly among ancient trunks and earth underfoot. The meal that follows is rooted in regenerative growing, celebrating food produced in step with nature rather than at its expense.
The menu is designed for sharing — vibrant, carefully composed plates that balance flavour, texture and beauty. Seasonal ingredients are treated with respect and precision, whether slowly cooked to deepen complexity or served at their freshest, as if just lifted from the soil.
Meat is cooked over open fire in full view of diners, sourced from slow-grown animals raised outdoors at Ewhurst Park throughout the year. Vegetables take centre stage, elevated in taste, nutrition and depth, alongside often-forgotten seasonal flavours foraged directly from the land.
Curated wine pairings will be available to purchase, alongside a full wine list and bar.
Please note: card payments only.
Chef Albi Ison grew up in Zimbabwe, immersed in a culture of fresh, seasonal and locally rooted food. Largely self-taught, he moved to London to refine his craft, spending over six years with the Ottolenghi team and further broadening his experience within the city’s diverse food scene.
Albi has worked with Ewhurst Park since its inception, running the farm-to-table restaurant The Good Plot for four years alongside a private catering practice. His cooking reflects his roots — effortless, seasonal and generous — allowing exceptional ingredients the space to shine. Dishes are simple yet striking, honest and deeply connected to place.
