NAACP Housing Summit

Welcome to the NAACP Housing Summit! Join us at the Kool Family Community Center. The NAACP of Battle Creek invites you to the 2025 Housing Summit—a free community event focused on housing insecurity, rental programs, credit and budgeting tips, legal rights, and steps to homeownership.

Speakers include representatives from the City of Battle Creek, Battle Creek Housing Commission, Neighborhood Inc., The Haven, Legal Services of Southwest Michigan, Michigan Department of Civil Rights, and more.

Food

Mitts-to-Pitts will prepare a light meal. Water will also be available. Please note that food will be provided while supplies last, so plan accordingly.

Child Watch

Child Watch services are available upon request for children ages 4-11, ensuring a comfortable experience for parents and guardians. While this service is provided, the event welcomes individuals of all ages.
