Journaling Workshop

Utilizing the Pink Cloud Moments caregiver journal, author and podcaster Peggy Sweeney-McDonald and journal designer Jackie Begue will lead a hands-on workshop at the Main Library at Goodwood on Tuesday, February 10 at 6 p.m. to support caregivers with reflective journaling tools, guided prompts, and conversations about finding moments of grace amid the intensity of caregiving.
The Pink Cloud Moments journal supplements Sweeney-McDonald’s memoir, Life in the A-Zone, which chronicles her deeply personal experience of moving back home to Baton Rouge after 36 years to help care for her mother during her Alzheimer’s journey. Drawing from stories first shared on her acclaimed podcast, Life in the A-Zone invites readers to notice the “pink cloud moments”— the brief flashes of grace, connection, and meaning that can appear even in the midst of profound loss.
