The Black Student Union is excited to announce our Annual BSU Family Weekend Tailgate on September 20th at Unity Field from 12 pm to 6 pm!
Since BSU does not receive LSU funding, everything we do is powered by membership dues, fundraising, and parent support. Here’s how you can help us make this year’s tailgate unforgettable:
- Membership: Encourage your student, new or old, to join BSU! ($30/year via Cheddar Up).

The Annual BSU Family Weekend Tailgate celebrates community and tradition. We want parents to experience both the classic LSU student tailgate through the LSU Parent Association and the unique culture and spirit of a Black student tailgate at Unity Field!
