The City of Baton Rouge and Parish of East Baton Rouge will celebrate Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Day on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 from 6 PM- 8 PM, at the Main Library, 7711 Goodwood Boulevard.
Hosted by the Data, Analytics, and Performance Division, GIS Day highlights how mapping technology and data visualization are used to support decision-making, improve city services, and strengthen community engagement.
The event will feature:

- Live demonstrations, a
- Student poster competition
- Prizes, networking opportunities, and free giveaways.
- Attendees can also win a one-year Esri ArcGIS student license.
