MILLTOWN Screening

Monday 15 to Wednesday 17 December during library opening hours.
Take some time to relax and cool off this summer by dropping into the library to watch this short documentary. The 13-minute film will be screened on a loop at Bathurst Library. No bookings are required. Please see the service desk for headphones.

A project between Arts OutWest and Chifley Home and Education Centre, the film features interviews with Bathurst locals who lived in the Milltown / South Bathurst area in the 20th century. Their memories are woven together with personal film footage and with stories of Ben and Elizabeth Chifley to create a beautiful celebration of life by the railways.

It was produced by the Arts and Health team, Kate Smith and Steven Cavanagh, and was created by Bathurst-based film maker Henry Simmons.
