A year after Bill Dickerson fell to his death on a worksite, his widow has received no explanation about what happened.

She hires Ryan Bradley, who has just returned to the remote town of Nashville as a lawyer, to get answers. Was it suicide? An accident? Or murder? In small towns, nothing is quite what it seems.

About the author

Born and raised in rural New Zealand, Geoff Parkes has written a weekly opinion column for The Roar, Australia’s leading on-line sports website for 12 years. He is the author of two crime novels.
