Location: KES Bathampton Playing Fields - Bath, BA2 6SY
Join us for the first-ever KES Outdoor Cinema event, featuring two much-loved films, delicious food, and a cosy setting ideal for families, friends, and film fans alike. Pack a blanket, gather your favourite people, and make the most of the final weekend before school returns with a summer’s day of uplifting cinema, great food and drink, and the company of your local community.
Screening Times:
- Paddington 2 – 2:00PM (gates open at 12:30PM)
- The Greatest Showman – 6:15PM (gates open at 5:15PM)
Please note: Separate tickets are required for each film. The venue will briefly close between screenings unless you hold a ticket for both.

- General Admission (Age 16+): £13
- Child (Age 3 to 16): £8.95
- Family Ticket (2 x General & 2 x Child tickets): £39.90
- Group of 4 Adults: £48
- Under 3’s: FREE
Tickets are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment! Unfortunately we are unable to provide refunds unless the event is cancelled due to adverse weather.
🍔 Food & Drink
A wide range of tasty food and drink will be available to buy on the day, including BBQ favourites, freshly popped popcorn, locally crafted soft drinks, and a selection of popular alcoholic beverages. Be sure to bring your card and treat yourself while you enjoy the films.
You're welcome to bring your own food and drink, but please ensure:
- No glass is brought on site
- All rubbish is disposed of responsibly
- We are a cashless venue - Card and contactless payments only.
What to Bring:
- Picnic blankets, low-level chairs, cushions, and cosy blankets
- Weather-appropriate clothing – this is an outdoor event, rain or shine!
- A reusable cup for drinks (if bringing your own)
- We’ll have a limited number of ground-level chairs available to hire, but we highly recommend bringing your own comfy setup.
Travel & Parking:
- Parking is available on-site for those who need it. However, we strongly encourage sustainable travel where possible – please do consider walking, cycling (secure bike parking provided), or using public transport to help reduce environmental impact.
**No parking is permitted within Bathampton residential areas.

- No pets (except assistance animals)
- Please take all rubbish with you or use the bins provided
- Respect fellow moviegoers and enjoy the show!
Adverse Weather:
Our outdoor cinema will go ahead if it rains- just check the forecast, dress for the weather, and embrace the moment!
We will monitor conditions closely and will contact ticket holders by email or text if there’s any weather-related concern. Otherwise, assume the show is on.
