This 4-hour workshop is the perfect introduction to outdoor bouldering in a safe and scenic setting. Set in the beautiful woodland of Sally in the Woods, just outside Bathampton, you’ll learn everything you need to get started climbing confidently and responsibly on real rock.

How to use climbing guidebooks and access crags responsibly
Topping out and down climbing techniques
Bouldering mat design, placement, and effective use
Spotting and falling safely
Crag etiquette and how to Respect the Rock
Understanding outdoor conditions
Environmental awareness and Leave No Trace principles
Navigating online resources (BMC RAD, UKC, Rockfax)
