Scare on the Square

The annual Batesville Main Street trick-or-trunk event SCARE ON THE SQUARE trick or trunk and costume contest event is happening on Saturday, October 25th on the downtown Batesville Square from 10am to 12 noon!

Every year, the square is delightfully swarmed with 500+ little unicorns, princesses, ghouls, goblins, witches and more to raid the “trunks” for candy and other goodies!

Costume contest for ages newborn to 12, as well as family/group category. Contest registration will be from 10am to 11am at the bottom of the square by the stage (flatbed trailer). Winners will be announced at 11:30 am.

“Trunk vendors” will be assigned a parking space to decorate however you wish – simple or elaborate – or simply distribute goodies directly out of the back of your vehicle! There will be a prize for “best trunk/space” too!
