KITS will be hosting a “Surf ‘n Turf” social ride to Batemans Bay on Sunday 28 September 2025.
All riders, motorcycles and pillions of all skill levels are welcome. Join us for this inclusive social ride to welcome the warmer weather and summer riding! You are welcome to extend an invitation to riders/pillions who are not KITS members.
Date: Sunday 28 September 2025, meet at 8:30am for 9:00am departure.
Meeting/Departure Location: Bungendore, Gunna Doo Bakery - 18 Gibraltar St, Bungendore NSW 2621
Destination: Batemans Bay
Route: Bungendore via Macs Reef Rd, Braidwood and Batemans Bay via the Kings Hwy
Pause at Braidwood Memorial Park for an amenity break and regroup.
Pause again and regroup and fuel at the Ampol Foodary Batemans Bay- 2 Princes Hwy Cnr, Kings Hwy, Batemans Bay NSW 2536.
Arrive Batemans Bay approx. 11:30am (lunch at a place of your choosing. Some popular options are the Bayview Hotel and Innes Boatshed).
Depart Batemans Bay for Canberra via reverse route by 1:30pm.
Arrive Canberra approx. 3:30-4:00pm.
Please ensure that your motorcycle and riding gear is in roadworthy condition prior to this event.
NOTE: In the interests of safety this ride may be cancelled 24hrs beforehand if the weather forecast is for rain or otherwise wet, slippery or low visibility conditions. If the ride is cancelled due to poor conditions, it will be rescheduled for Sunday 12 October 2025.
