Well, Bird’s been playing round the traps mostly down south for yonks (& still does monthly), lots of festivals over the years (Port Fairy, Big Day Out, Apollo Bay etc) radio (ABC, Triple J, RRR, PBS), a bit o' tv (ABC, Ch 9 & 10), not to mention pubs & clubs from Hobart to Humpty Doo in multifarious outfits.
Bill’s recorded with Shane Pacey of Bondi Cigars, played with Paul Greene of Spy vs Spy etc, & now, after years of cheffing in high class Sydney eateries, he’s finally doin what he needed to all along — livin on the beautiful South Coast while exclusively cooking on his strat with a sizzlin tube boogie.
So with the old hand on vox & rhythms, & the new blood on lead breaks & BVs, doin old favorites (Springsteen, Creedence, Al Green, Bill Withers & Marvin Gaye) to newer favorites (Daft Punk, Amy Winehouse, Fat Boy Slim, Keb Mo’, & Julia Jacklin), also classic blues (Howlin’ Wolf, Mississippi Fred Mc Dowell & Muddy Waters), & still a whole bunch o’ favorites u didn’t even know u had yet, Bill&Bird will funk yo soul’s blues til u dance!
