In Vietnamese homes during Tết, there's always a pot of Thịt Kho simmering - pork belly braised in coconut water and caramel until it's sticky, rich, and so tender it falls apart with chopsticks.
This is prosperity food. Luck food. The dish you eat with family around the table, laughing about the year that's passed and the one ahead.

The Lunar calendar gives us 15 days of celebration. February 21st is Phá Vở (Break Five) - the day when you can let go of the old year's taboos and start fresh. February 22nd is the Day of the Horse, which this year celebrates the entire Year of the Horse.
