A good knife in the hands of someone skilled is one of the most useful tools human beings have ever created. Want to take your knife skills to the next level? Or perhaps you haven't used an outdoor knife before and need to start from scratch. Either way, this class is for you! Whether you are a seasoned woods person or a total beginner we can help you learn to master your knife. Come join us for a day of knife use and carving with one of our expert instructors.
The class will cover following topics:

~ Knife sharpening and care
~ Selecting the best knife for the job
~ Simple carving exercises
~ Advanced carving and knife use techniques
~ 10 techniques for getting the most out of your knife
~ Carving projects such as spoons, simple survival traps, and other survival tools

Ages: This is an adult class but open to ages 12+. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult participant with a 1:1 ratio. An enrollment form and class fee must be received for each person attending class, regardless of age.
