Malheur NWR, a unique, high desert oasis, is an essential migration stop for birds following the Pacific Flyway. Carl Woodward, Great Swamp NWR volunteer and a Board member of Friends of Malheur NWR, will provide an overview of this fascinating Refuge with a history of collaboration and controversy.
