Pull Up and Dip Competition - Calisthenics Basingstoke

Bodystrong 1RM Pull and Dip comp, separate Max Reps comp. Compete in either or both.

1 rep max Pull Up and Dip Competition in collaboration with Bodystrong UK:

Pull ups will be first, followed by dips.

3 attemps per lift.

Will be run under Bodystrong/Final Rep rules and judging standards.

Max Reps Competition:

Max reps in 2 mins, no leaving the bar, no more than 3 seconds stationary. Athletes will complete their pull ups first. Dips will commence once all athletes have finished pull ups (i.e. there will be a rest period between pull ups and dips).

1 point will be rewarded for every valid rep of a movement. The athlete with the highest total number of points after completing all of the movements will be the winner.

Male and Female categories (no weight categories)

Arrive from 11am. Competition starting at 12pm.

Comp timings will be given in the week before.

Depending on entries, competitions may run concurrently. Any athlete competing in both will do weighted first, and will be given sufficient rest time between events.
