March meeting : Lady Denman

Lady Gertrude Denman devoted her life to the rights and roles of women in society, founded the NFWI and was director of the Women’s Land Army during WW2.

We will be joined at our March meeting by Joanna Foat, author of ‘The Lumberjills’ (the women’s Timber Corps in WW2).
Members - bring along any WI memorabilia that you have.
