As in previous projects, Vera Wahl and Manuela Villiger conceive, compose, and produce eventuell. zoom entirely on their own. Using live electronics, sensors, video, and light, the compositions merge into a cohesive work; situated between performance, concert, & music theater. The duo explores the subtle interplay between focus, scale, and perception in the digital age. What happens when we zoom in – and what do we lose sight of in the process? The performance investigates how digital technologies and algorithmic systems direct our attention, reshape our perception, and construct new layers of reality. Shifting between the visible and the invisible, eventuell. zoom questions how proximity alters truth and challenges our sense of what is real.
