Am 11. November 1980 wurde die ehemalige Reithalle erstmals durch die Kulturwerkstatt und Basler Theaterschaffende bespielt – heute ist die Kaserne Basel ein zentraler Ort für zeitgenössische Kultur. International vernetzt, lokal verankert, Raum für Residenzen, Festivals, Nachwuchs und etablierte Artists. Ein Ort der Begegnung – für Basel und weit darüber hinaus. Cheers to 45 years!
