This past year, Roots that Bind Us joined the Food For Every Table 🥘 initiative through the United Way of Greater Austin — an experience that opened my eyes to the real food insecurity right here in Williamson County!
Living in Bartlett, I’ve met neighbors who don’t know where their next meal will come from. That reality has reshaped our mission: we’re not just building food forests 🌳 for education and connection — we’re helping communities literally grow food and hope together. 💫
Roots that Bind Us is turning awareness into action by planting 10 fruit trees 🍎 in Bartlett to help our community grow food 🍐 and hope!
Sponsor a tree for $75 by Feb 1 and join us for Community Planting Day 🌳 at the Teinert Memorial Library in Bartlett — Feb 7, 2–4 PM. Every hand helps, every tree nourishes! 🌟
Become a “Root Stimulator” and help Bartlett grow strong, healthy roots for the future. 🌱
Special thanks to the Zimmer Family for donating a fig tree for Bartlett City Hall in honor of their mother, Loraine. 🌳
